As I was driving home from work, Illinois's finest pulled me over and informed me I was doing 70 in a 55. I duly explained why I was doing 70 (to keep up with traffic) but he said forget it. Anyways, I got two tickets - One for speeding and one for not being able to produce my insurance card. I was told that if I wanted my license I would have to post bail of $200.00. My question is this. If I post bail am I admitting any quilt? Another question. Assuming I post bail, do I get my money back if the ticket is dismissed? Do I get my money back if the judge decides I'm guilty? Is there anything else I should know before I venture into the lion's lair? Thanks beforehand. Regards.
