To fix this I moved the writing of the boot entry after the do_table(-99) in init.c instead of before it. Since after it runs /etc/rc the date is then setup correctly. 2) You sample /etc/inittab had /etc/update exec instead of spawn. 3) Do you have a different date command which excepts -h as an argument. 4) What does you /etc/hupdaemon do, monitor dial in lines and check for DCD to drop and hangs the line up. Can I get a copy of it. 5) Also, what about lpsched! I don't have it with my Minix. Where can I get it, I have only had Minix for 4-5 weeks now and I think I have missed some good programs? 6) Do you have /etc/telinit yet, I guess the best place for it is to be linked to /etc/init ??? Keep up the good work Fred, this will become a permanent part of my Minix system. Michael Temari temari@ecamv1.dnet.ge.com
