I think that my lack of enthusiasm for doing the extra bit of work so that the patches for cppmake could be posted has given the program a rather bad reputation :-( What I hadn't counted on was the number of people who would use it because of Bruce's 386 patches. Bruce and I have been using it for a long time and it migrated to 1.5.10 with a few quick edits which haven't been made public. I will post the current version of cppmake in a day or two. It is undergoing beta test to make sure that a misfeature is killed. Urk ... I'm sure you all will be pleased to know that cppmake relies makes use of fopen(name, "w+"). I think that this feature is supported in a hacked version of Minix stdio, but not in the official 1.5.10 release. It is supported in estdio. Earl PS As far as I know, it's only being worked on by one person! -- Earl Chew, Dept of Computer Science, Monash University, Australia 3168 EMAIL: cechew@bruce.cs.monash.edu.au PHONE: 03 5655447 FAX: 03 5655146 ----------------------------------------------------------------------
