Message-ID: <1990Nov8.231354.250@arizona.edu> Date: 9 Nov 90 06:13:54 GMT Organization: University of Arizona Lines: 17 This may be a very common question asked and if so please forgive me ... but I just read through about 200 posts to this group and did not see an answer. I want to run Minix on a Gateway 386 25mhz with 4 megs of RAM and a 105 meg hard drive. Now this machine cannot run Minix all the time (I will use Minix all the time :) as certain DOS programs *must* be used on this machine. Now is it possible to use Minix part time? Is there a problem with booting it from a floppy and running under Minix and then rebooting under DOS, from the HD, and using DOS apps? Am I asking too much? Please send email ... Thanks!! :) -- Jeff Dalton -- "Khelben Blackstaff" University of Arizona, Computer Science Major dalton@arizona.edu | dalton@arizona.bitnet
