You might try stripping the high bit off the 8N1 setting in the Alt-O menu. You also might try editing the telix.cnf file for data=8, parity="N" and stop=1 to 7, E, and 1, respectively. I take it that using the 'A' option in the Alt-O menu doesn't work?
