I look forward to its future and hope it can remain #a viable competitor. But, it needs to react to change (like NETBIOS support, #better interaction with printer protocols, ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Clarification, please? The PC-NFS printing model is, in essence, to get the print data onto the server and then let PCNFSD worry about it. Check out the last version of PCNFSD I posted for an example of how to get rotated 2 column output using a dedicated printer name. Or do you feel I should burden the PC with direct "lpd" support? Just curious. Geoff -- Geoff Arnold, PC-NFS architect, Sun Microsystems.
