Message-ID: <1990Nov5.233333.1221@millipore.com> Date: 5 Nov 90 23:33:33 GMT Organization: Millipore Corporation Lines: 20 I am trying to get pcnfsd to work on a sparcstation 1 running 4.0.3 and I am having some trouble. Namely, nothing seesm to be happening. From the PC end all I get is a message saying that the mount has been refused by the server (NFS038F). On the server side I get nothing. Nothing on the console, nothing. I am not even sure if pcnfsd is being run. I added the requisite line to /etc/inetd.conf but inetd had trouble saying that it didn't know what that service was. By comparing files with my other system I found that pcnfsd was not in the rpc file so I added it there. Now there are no complaints, but nothing happens. Any ideas? -- Brian Utterback, Millipore Corporation, 75G Wiggins Ave., Bedford Ma. 01730 Work:617-275-9200x8245, Home:603-891-2536 INTERNET:: blu@millipore.millipore.com UUCP:: {samsung,cg-atla,merk,wang,bu-tyng}!millipore!blu
