Is the moon full or what?  Please ignore the previous posting I made.  I posted
last night because I couldn't get my pc to mount a partition from a 
SparcStation.  This was the first time mounting with pcnfs on this SS1 but not
the first time from the pc, so I was sure that the problem was on the SS1 with
pcnfs.  Thanks to those that responded suggesting that I check the exports file,
but I already had checked it, and verified the export with showmount.

Anyway, I kept trying things and then doing a "drives" on the pc, which would
respond with the error message.  I did this just before I posted last night.
I then left and went home.  Upon my arrival this morning, I once again did
the "drives" on the pc.  This time it worked! I could still see the previous
error messages on the pc screen with no intervening commands and no one had 
logged into the SS1 either from the console or via the network.  Now I have
a bigger mystery than before, but as long as it works I guess I can't complain.
