Yes. I fought with sendmail configuration for a long time, and never 
succeeded in getting it running just the way I wanted to. 

Then, I pulled smail3.14 off uunet, and had it installed and running 
right in about three days. I'm happy, the users are happy, the mail
is getting thru....   HIGHLY recommended.

The only thing to watch are the log and error files in /usr/spool/smail,
which can get large if you don't clean them out every week.
