Before I lay down that large hunk of cash, and trash my other computer system. I have a few questions that I hope some of you will answer. 1) After reading through the info the dealer gave me. I still have questions about the Amiga's graphics modes. Could someone please explain the diferent resolutions and the number of colors each mode can have. Also I have heard things about the HAM mode, how usefull is this mode? One guy was talking about the improved graphics with the "enhanced" chips. Can you upgrade to these "enhanced" chips? 2) What are the main differences between the Amiga systems? How much of an improvement is the Amiga 3000 compaired to the 2000? How compatable are the different Amiga systems? I've heard several titles wont run on the Amiga 3000. If you were to buy a new system what would you buy? 3) Finally, could someone recommend a C compiler, assembler, and some graphics software. Please respond by mail, from what I've seen this is a very busy newsgroup. Forgive my ignorance, and thanks for your help. - Doug +------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Doug Stevens ====> stevendd@mentor.cc.purdue.edu | +------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
