The symptoms are: Keyboard locks up and CAPS LOCK flashes. <--- frequent Mouse occasionally becomes unusable (pointer freezes in one spot, but keyboard continues to work). <--- rare Setup is basic Amiga 500 with EXP500 1/2 meg expansion board. I have tried openning it up and cleaning it as well as reseating the chips. It shows the same symptoms with or without the memory board. One local told me I need a new keyboard while another said it was the power supply. If anyone has an opinion on this (hopefully with some supporting facts :-), please E-mail it my way. Thanks a lot! -=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=--=*=- Mike Conca, Computer Science Dept. * conca@handel.cs.colostate.edu Colorado State University * conca@129.82.102.32 "Everyday, as the network becomes larger, the world becomes smaller."
