The maple that I got has been more than worth the money, as I can't always get to the version on the local workstations, and moreover my connection to the machine on my desk is always faster than any connection to campus. The amiga version is a full fledged version of maple, and if you have an accelerator (or at least a math co-processor) on your machine, you should have results approximating a workstation. I'd go for it if you do symbolic math or numerical computing (It can check those results) on a semi-regular basis. Stephen H.
