        I'm not sure about a purple screen, but the following colours are what
i do know.
        RED: error in the ROMS
        GREEN: Error in Chip RAM
        BLUE: Error in the Custom Chips.
        YELLOW: An error found in the 68000 before a GURU could kick in.
        In any case, it doesn't sound good at all.
