Message-ID: <35761@nigel.ee.udel.edu> Date: 8 Nov 90 08:38:53 GMT Sender: usenet@ee.udel.edu Lines: 23 I just bought the new version of Excellence! (I'm glad to note they had an educational purchase plan), and I was wondering whether anyone out there could tell me how to convert postscript fonts such as those used with the shareware(?) program Post to a format usable by Excellence. Also, does anyone know of a way to convert TeX fonts to Postscript fonts usuable by Excellence (I know there is a PD program to convert TeX fonts to amiga screen fonts, but I would really like the increased resolution of Postscript). Excellence! seems like a, well, excellent :-) word processer. It does seem kind of slow though, despite all the claims of really fast typing speed on the back of the box. I keep holding down delete too long, resulting in me having to watch the cursor slowly go back and erase my mistyped word---then the previous word, then the previous... very frustrating. I've pretty much gotten used to that `feature' though, and other than that I have only been impressed with the package.
