To do this, you might follow the raft, i.e. go after it with your backside first, maintaining the same course and virtually the same speed as the raft. At one stage, I got so rich, that I made more money from buying/selling them BIG ships (RORO/LOLO), then from sailing around the world. At this stage, the game gets booring.
