Davis - Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Lines: 19 My Supra 20M SCSI drive gives me the following problem: When reading (e.g. using more) certain files, the system will freeze at some fixed point of the file. The busy LED of the drive is on, and the screen freezes, no Guru reported. Sometimes reloading the file will fix the problem. I believe the problem is associated with the drive rather than the files. Are there any PD/Shareware utilities that can check the integrity of a HD, or check the files one by one? Any help / info will be appreciated. Thanks!
