Davis - Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Lines: 20 This is a follow-up of the previous article asking for help with a Supra SCSI HD setup that sometimes freezes my A1000. According to the messages I have received so far, there are mainly three types of responses: 1. There are utilities to check HDs for errors and remap the HD. "dv" is one of the disk verification utilities. 2. The problem is that the Supra driver cannot handle bad sectors, so blame Supra. 3. Call up Supra to see if they have corrected this (probably software oriented) problem.
