Stop licking those toads!!! Let's see here...the PC is 9 yrs old, and the II is 12 1/2. What's the difference? What makes the II hardware obsolete, but the PC state-of-the art? Development and support, that's what. You realize that Apple has spent the better part of the '80 trying to get the II off their backs (starting with the Apple /// in '80 and continuing through the Mac LC in '90). Not only have they failed, 5 million II's were sold in that time. Now tell me this...with faster processors and better graphics, what could and Apple II NOT do????? The Mac is a tremendous personal computer for the times? The hell it is! Macs are universally overpriced and underpowered...and Apple can't fall back on that ease-of-use crutch anymore...not with Windows 3.0 (good enough for those brain damaged people who absolutely have to have a GUI). Amigas, PC's and NeXT's are all better buys than the Mac. Sooner or later I'll go Mac? BY THE LEFT FRONTAL LOBE OF THE SKY DEMON, I'LL DO NOTHING OF THE KIND!!!!!!
