Without being able to change disks, a SyQuest drive (while the computer is on) is simply a ~45 megabyte hard drive. That's it. An expensive and relatively slow ~45 megabyte hard drive at that. Does Cirtech have any kind of an upgrade from the Apple DMA SCSI card to the RAMFast?
