First I tried it out with that as the only drive, however, I kept on getting the familiar Check Startup Device screen. I finally hooked up my Apple 3.5 in behind it, then they both started to work. I switched the order because my apple drive is much more quiet. So I had my apple 3.5, the AE 3.5, and my apple 5.25 daisy chained. When I turned on my GS I got the Check Startup Device screen again, I later noticed that this configuration of drives would work when I unplugged my 5.25". The only order that allowed me use of all my drives was the AE 3.5 first, then my apple 3.5, and finally my apple 5.25.
