The only real advantage I can see to making the swap \ is that I was going to upgrade to 4 meg soon, and it should be easier with the SIMMS in the STe over an expansion board for the ST. What I really worry about, is that the ST is a 1986 vintage and has given me good service and the new STe's are an unknown. What incompatibility problems are going to bite me?? Are the new STe's shipping with the fixed TOS1.6 chips yet?? I would hate to trash my Hard-drive with this thing!! Any and all opinions (short ofshort of the "Buy an AMIGA!!" crap) are welcomed!! -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Capt Jeff Long longj@lonex.radc.af.mil | | Rome Air Development Center (315) 330-7751 | | Communications Networking Branch (DSN) 587-7751 |
