Berkeley Lines: 16 Several posts back, someone mentioned about a replacement 48SX displaying weird lcd behavior which can be likened to what you see when you turn off the tv. Well, my newly bought 48SX showed the same type of problem. I was fiddling with the on-D <- sequence, when suddenly, when I pressed the 8 key, zap! The screen was flooded with on pixels which slowly disappeared, leaving the screen blank. I had to do a on-C to get back, but once I got back, everything was working normally. Further experiments indicate that there's nothing special about 8, but the lcd blanking was limited to on-D <- sequence followed by keys which changed the address display. However, a few minutes later, when I repeated the on-D <- sequence, no ununsual lcd behavior showed up. Has anybody else's 48SX displayed this screen blanking effect? I'd hate to see this happen in the middle of an exam! Keith Kong
