In fact, I have had to reformat my entire hard disk because NDD was trying to "fix" the IBM signature on my D: partition. I have a Seagate ST-241-1 (42 meg) partitioned into a DOS (and thus Norton) compatible 32-meg C: partition and a non-DOS (and non-Norton) 10 meg D: partition. If your setup is anything like this, I would highly recommend against trying to use any DOS type utilities on your D: partition. When this happened to me, as I indicated above, I had no success in reclaiming the information on the D: drive. At that time it just seemed simpler to reformat the entire drive rather than take risks with unknown information written in strange places on an unstandard partition. -- \ /\/\ /\/\ +-----------------------------+ /\/\ /\/\ /./ \\ /./\\\ /./\\\ /====|Norman Lin/norlin@129.15.20.2|===/./\\\ /./\\\ /./ \\\/./ \\\/./ \\\/./===| norlin@uokmax.ecn.uoknor.edu|====/ \\\/./ \\\/./ \/\/ \/\/ \/\/ +-----------------------------+ \/\/ \/\/
