Read) Organization: UT-Austin Nuclear Physics (Jerry's Kids) Lines: 18 I am in the market for a new monitor, and was planning to buy a Sony 1304 (Multi-scan HG), but my cash flow got pinched unexpectedly, so now I have to set my sights a little lower. Flipping through the latest issue of Computer Shopper, I notice that Panasonic makes a monitor (Panasonic 1381) which seems to be identical to the Mitsubishi Diamond Scan (also model # 1381). Are they in fact the same machine? Also, does anyone know if the beasty is any good? How does it fare on color reproduction, contrast, resolution etc...Most to the point, I suppose, is this: is it worth the $389 price I ferreted out of the magazine? That's a nice 'n' cheap price tag, so it looks appealing! -- Dave Read | read@physics.utexas.edu |"I will go insane, and UT-Austin Nuclear Physics | readdm@dopey.cc.utexas.edu | I WILL TAKE YOU WITH ME Graduate Student (Slave) | read@lampf.lanl.gov | -from 'Beetlejuice'
