The motherboard looks like a 25MHz board, ie the CPU and other things wear marks saying "25" on them, and there is a crystal marked 50MHz. The board is in "BABY AT" size and is called "I&I 386" or "I&I BABY-386", where "I&I" probably stands for "Interplanetary Information CO, Ltd" (this name is mentioned in the "manual"). It has CHIPS&TECH chipset and a socket for a 387 and 287. It is (of course) made in Taiwan. The only documentation I got with the board was a tiny skyblue booklet apparently describing a 16 MHz version of the same board. The system described in this "book" has a Phoenix BIOS, but my machine has one from AMI. There are also other things that differ. Since I am having some strange problems with this board and no one to turn to with my problems, I would very much like to hear from anyone who recognizes this beast. Do you have one in YOUR machine? Or do you know/have heard of the Taiwanese company presumably have manufactured this thing? Or maybe you know machines this type of motherboard exists? In any case - let me know! /Johannes -- Johannes Sjogren sgren@dynas.se DynaSoft, Dynamic Software AB Phone: +46-8-726 85 60 Liljeholmsv 10, S-117 43 STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN Fax: +46-8-18 11 45
