I've researched the PS/2 fully but am frustrated with its completely different physical connector. Are any of these points for EISA not true? -EISA bus can handle ISA (XT) cards by not letting them seat completely in the connector. -XT designs require no changes to work in EISA bus machine -Software for XT cards in EISA bus require no changes We currently have PC's with an "extended slot/protoboard" for students to do design work on. My goal is to have a machine that will replace our dieing 1983 PC's AND allow more advanced designs in the future or higher level classes. Any input on EISA hardware design would be fully appreciated! -- BAKER,JAMES G - Lab Technician, School of Electrical Engineering Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 uucp: ...!{decvax,hplabs,ncar,purdue,rutgers}!gatech!prism!jgb Internet: jgb@prism.gatech.edu
