What I want to know is the PC side of things... I *know* the advantages and disadvantages of a Atari TT (32 bit 030 beast) and the Atari ATW (Unix machine Without a MMU !), but what i don't know is how far say, $10000 would go in the 386/486 world... and weather the 486 is as realiable as Amiga's Sumcheck no-fat disk drive format... i heard it was _VERY_ buggy... I am into: DTP, WP, Non-Midi music, and Games, oh, and i also run a bbs, could some kind person please advise me of the strong points of a 386 or 486 in these areas. (Please no flames (Atari Vs IBM)) Many thanx. --- D'Bridge 1.30/001501 * Origin: SpringBoard Communications (3:771/110) SEEN-BY: 771/110 150 170 180 772/20 FSC-Control: PATH: 771/110
