Message-ID: <11447@hubcap.clemson.edu> Date: 7 Nov 90 19:27:11 GMT Organization: Clemson University, Clemson, SC Lines: 11 Well, it's time for me to increase my memory from 512K to 1Meg, and the vendor of my system is outta here. I have a 12 MHz Wells American 286 machine from circa 1987. Wells used zip packaged RAM in these and didn't bother to document the chip type. They are labelled 54256-12 and I need more. If you know whether they're 256Kx1 or 64Kx4 and who might stock them, please let me know. I'd like to upgrade to DOS 4.01, but I don't think my meager MM is enough considering my applications. Thanks for any info, and have fun... Doug Ferrell rferrel@hubcap.clemson.edu
