CS Dept, Ithaca NY Lines: 13 We've run into some problems using meta in "bypass" mode. Meta creates large numbers of groups, broadcasts rather a lot, and uses gbcast much more than most applications (especially in the table manager). It seems that this provokes a bypass bug we hadn't seen before. Since you can run both bypass and non-bypass programs on the same isis system (although not in the same process group) I suggest that users who need to work with meta and who run into problems recompile the afflicted parts of the system using a clib build with bypass disabled. We are fixing this in ISIS V3.0... Ken Birman
