Message-ID: <1990Nov05.153411.26124@unx.sas.com> Date: 5 Nov 90 15:34:11 GMT Sender: cole@unx.sas.com (Tom Cole) Distribution: usa Organization: SAS Institute Inc. Lines: 17 I seem to have acquired a Tandy 1400FD for peanuts. This makes it an only slightly overpriced purchase. However, all that notwithstanding, is it possible to get a hard disk upgrade for this puppy out there? Radio Shack lists it as costing $1000 in their catalog, but since I beleive the 1400 series is being discontinued (has been discontinued?) I don't expect this would do me any good even if I was willing to play $1k for it, which I feel is a little pricey. Are their 3rd party disks, or is there something I can install on my own? Where would I look for such a thing? Or am I really SOL, and bought a portable terminal that only looks like a really slow PC.... :) Any suggestions (polite or otherwide, except "HA ha ha ha") would be really welcome. Thanks!
