If I print the figure from macDraw II, it prints fine, but copying and pasting into Word results in conversion of slanted text to a bitmap. Second, why can't the DeskWriter handle transparencies? Does permanent ink make a difference? I've several other inkjet printers (including the HP PaintJet) that claim to be capable of printing transparencies. BTW, Sheaffer Jet Black Skrip works great for refilling DeskWriter cartridges. ---Todd
