Yeah, ELITE was/is great! I had it back in the old days when my computer was a
CBM 64. I too have been looking for ELITE FOR THE MAC, but haven't found it. I
don't think it exists. Couldn't some really SMART programmer port it over for
the Mac, or better still, make a real Mac version, or a new game thats got all
the good parts of ELITE (designing your ship, ship manouvering, the space
fight, the trading, the BEATIFULLY FANTASTIC GRAPHICS etc) and some more (i.g.
more missions, ship-to-ship communication, possibility to land on planets etc).
GOD, that would be fantastic, and I would pay almost anything for a game like
that!
