Now don't get excited but I was told about a year ago by the guy who did the
Amiga and ST conversions of Elite that they were now writing it for the
Macintosh!! Actually make that about half a year ago. I have now left
the bulletin board service that he was on though he can be mailed through
internet. 

I'll try and get hold of him and ask if it is still on.
