I'm at an "educational institution", and it seems that they're still selling SE's here. The price seems to be about $300 MORE for the SE's in every configuration (ie. 40 meg hard drive, 2 meg configuration.) My question is this: besides getting * an extra adb port * an internal slot * a dimmer knob * an older power supply * a computer with around the same speed (apple says the classic is around 5% faster than the SE; MacUser says it's around 5% slower, who can tell?) * a computer that apple has discontinued :( what are we paying the extra $300 for? To keep apple's profit margins up? Should I tell my friends to get the Classic? thanks in advance, Jeremy Goldman CHE99A@BRANDEIS.BITNET (I never remember my internet address) (try to keep the replies here down--don't want them finding out that I'm not spending _ALL_ my time on my thesis...)
