Sorry to say this guy, but that ain't a competitive price anymore... Just four weeks ago B4 the new announcements, several local shops were selling NEW pluses for $650... Add $150 for an external floppy and the only value-added you have is the software... And the new stuff comes with a full one year warranty... The Mac Classic is now street pricing in LA for about $799 with a Superdrive (1.4M floppy) and the new 512K Rom... And its video is a bit faster than the plus. My best guess on a used MacPlus right now is about $350 tops plus about $75 for the external drive... Sounds brutal, but hey, everyone wanted Apple to reduce their prices and they did... can't complain about it now. Just as an aside, I spent $1700 on an original Mac 128K and have added about $800 to upgrade it with a SCSI, 800K drive, 128K ROM and 512K of memory... Best I can get for my machine right now is about $250... So it \ has depreciated 90% ( I wish I could write it off...) Sigh... Jon Rosen
