I would appreciate it if anyone could send me some information on what Macs
should cost these days. A very good friend who is completely computer
illiterate has only me for advice on which machine to buy and for how much.
I don't own a Mac, so I'm not even close to being in touch with what a fair
price is.

Requirements: Wordprocessing and Desktop Publishing (Postscript)

My thoughts: A machine with at least a 68020 in it.

Budget: $3,000 total for a CPU, Monitor, Hard Disk and printer. Maybe more if
necessary.

So far, we've thought about a SE/30 or the new LC. Both look like they would
be out of the price range, but who knows...

Any help would be most appreciated!
