I've seen millions of mac users with a picture in the background behind their windows, so without regard to work I've been trying to do that with my machine. I've got a program called "backdrop" version 2.16 that says it will do it, and as far as I can tell, it tries. My test picture is just something I scribbled in macpaint and it does show it after the startup picture (also built with macpaint) but as soon as the desktop appears it is erased. Is there a program I can put in my system file that will put up a background picture on a mac ii (with color screen)?
