First, face one thing. You're selling your Mac at a -bad- time. Apple's emphasis is on low-cost Macs. And the IIsi can easily be perceived as a more capable machine than the II. The advantage your II has is its NuBus slots, robust power supply, and capability to be upgraded to a IIfx. The IIsi on the other hand, has it's sound, 512k 32-bit clean slotted ROMs, fast 68030, small case, warrenty, and it's the newest kid on the block. You're going to have to price your II well below a comparable IIsi to be looked at, unless you manage to catch the eye of someone who needs lots of NuBus slots, but not a IIfx. I can get a IIsi for ~$3500. Price your II just below $3000. $2995 may be just $5 less than $3000, but that "2" makes a lot of difference in perception. Play up the NuBus slots, and the cheap upgrade to a IIfx. And of course, place "or best offer" in your ad. That'll get you started... -- Jim Gaynor - Systems Analyst 1 + "This is Serious. He is Lost.
