The driver has an option to select when you choose print to either use color/greyscale or black&white with the default being color/greyscale. My question...is there a way (using resedit or whatever) to change the default to the black&white mode? The reason that I want to do this is because most of what I want to print can use black&white just fine but if I forget to check the blacke&white box, the printing can take forever. If I can change the default that would be great...if not, I may resort to swapping the 5.2 and 6.0.2 back and forth to cover for my own stupidity. Please respond either in comp.sys.mac.system or to len@mtdca.att.com and not to the netnews server (it is having problems with mail). =============================================================================== ,--, ,--------, ,--, ,--, || Len Carr | | | ,-----' | \ | | || AT&T Paradyne | | | `---, | \| | || 200 Laurel Ave., MT 2D-213 | | | ,---' | |\ | || Middletown, NJ 07748 | `--, | `-----, | | \ | || (908) 957-3571 `-----' `--------' `--' `--' || len@mtdca.att.com ===============================================================================
