[Disclaimer: I could be wrong] What this person seems to be talking about is that in earlier Finders, if you drag THE CONTENTS OF A FLOPPY TO THE TRASH, but don't empty the trash, try to copy a file larger than the floppy to the disk, the finder wouldn't empty the trash on its own. Now it does.
