Message-ID: <7517@uwm.edu> Date: 8 Nov 90 16:19:21 GMT Sender: news@uwm.edu Distribution: usa Organization: UW-Milwaukee Computing Services Division Lines: 10 Originator: dave@convex.csd.uwm.edu I've been looking around the junk rooms here in my dept and been wondering what I might salvage out of computers with fried processors and what not if I got a next. There's a TI explorer sitting here with 2 maxtor 1140 (?) drives with scsi adapter interfaces on what otherwise I would think were st506 drives. Is there any chance of something like this working or do I have to get a real scsi drive? I am thinking of sticking said drives in a cube. -- Internet:dave@uwm.edu, Uucp:uwm!dave, Bitnet:dave%uwm.edu@INTERBIT AT&T:414-229-5133 USnail:Dave Rasmussen-CSD,Box 413 EMS380,Milwaukee,WI 53201
