(Besides price, since one is $14,000 w/ 16Meg and the other is $25,000) How do the cache, memory bandwidth, expansion capabilities, I/O handling, etc all compare. Is the 4D35 as balanced as the 4D310? Is the price difference only that the 4D310 can have a VGX engine added for another $30,000? It's just amazing how much cabnets cost, the CPU is usually quite cheap in comparison. Not that I'm complaining, Silicon Graphics makes neet cabinets. :-) John D.
