A few dayes later I found out that sunview now core-dumped as soon as it was invoked. All dbx could tell that the problem occured somewhere inside etext() called by start(). Can anyone tell me what strip did to the library to cause this problem and is there anyway to fix the library easily (I ended up restoring the files from Sun's distribution tape). This was on a Sun 3 with SunOS 4.0.1. Thanks
