I never saw any solution posted, and I am having the same problem, so I am asking the question again. The problem is that I am having some sort of problem with shared libraries. The error message:"error while reading shared libraries" comes up in the stdout window of dbxtool when I start up a debug session. This is not a spurious error message either; there is something wrong with the debug session. Sunview functions don't seem to work. Does anyone have a fix for this problem? Is it a SunOS problem, or is the problem with my local configuration info? Do I need to tell dbxtool where to get the proper libraries? For anyone interested in repying, here's some cofig info: Sun 4/110 w/shoebox (local disk) SunOS 4.10 SunView 1.0 Fred Clauss INTERNET: fredc@isc.umr.edu (preferred) Intelligent Systems Center or fredc@umree.ee.umr.edu University of Missouri UUNET: {occrsh|sunarch}!umree!fredc Rolla, MO 65401 BITNET: S081192@UMRVMA
