If i want to truly find a file on the file system, i don't want to have to worry about find skipping large portions of a file system simply because it doesn't want to follow those links. I realize that one of the potential problems could be circular links and infinite loops, but i would like it to be able to be forced to do this anyway. Maybe there is a pd program that does this??? I looked at the FM and it did state that find will not follow symlinks. Derek "Tigger" Terveer Just the facts, ma'am: det@medtron.medtronic.com
