We have just built the new version of ghostscript from the FSF. Ghostscript
is a postscript interpreter with the ability to convert a postscript
file to a number of different formats. In my case, I use the X-11 filter to
display postscript documents on my workstation. Unlike other PD postscript 
previewers, ghostscript can display the output of dvips with embedded figures.
