There does seem to be a myth that PC's can not provide performance in the X11 department. 386, 25MHz, No 387, 8Megs, Paradise 8514 ($650) 1024x768x256: 12,457 The 8514, which no one is talking about these days, is a temendous X11 card. It did the line400 test at the same rate as the line10 test, and really racked up points in the fill solid and screen copy tests. I'll send out the xbench output file if anyone is interested. This is on ESIX Rev.
