Is it possible, and if so how, to have cron "log" the commands it executes along with any output from a program that it runs? Specifically, I have a shell script that does nightly dumps and would like to see the stuff that dump puts to the screen, while doing it interactively, to a file. This would be similar to the effect on VMS of doing a set verify at the beginning of the command procedure. I have tried a couple of different redirections of the output but have not gotten what I want. Is it possible to do this???
