Message-ID: <11325.2735d25c@ecs.umass.edu> Date: 5 Nov 90 20:58:04 GMT Lines: 22 Arrrrrg! No sooner than I think that the new ATI driver is working well, that I discover a new bug in the driver! The problem wingif had with the pictures being drawn upside-down (and outside the display window) is gone, but the new bug is much worse. Whenever I move the mouse pointer to near the top of the screen, the screen squishes into two parts, each an entire version of the real screen. The top one is centered correctly, and the bottom one wraps around from left to right. The pointer still moves around; I am able to see it in both halves and close the windows session. When I restart, evertything is normal again (until I move the mouse to the top). Has anyone else had this problem? I don't think the old version had it. Bryon Daly PS: The new driver does seem to have better perfomance than the older 256 color one. Bryon daly@delta.ecs.umass.edu This space for rent/sale by owner.
