I have a generic 386SX machine with 4M of memory. I also have a5-6 year old
Mouse Systems mouse. When originally loading Win 3.0 I had to download a
new driver from the Mouse Systems BB. I ran in the enhanced mode. I recently
had a problem which trashed my HD (unknown origin). I reformatted the disk,
and reloaded all programs from originals.  Windows will NOT run in enhanced
mode.  If i invoke Windows with <win /s> it works fine, but typing <win>
or <win/3> gives me the title screen and then returns me to the C:> prompt.
I reloaded windows telling it i have no mouse and it runs in enhanced mode.
I downloaded the drivers from Mouse Systems again but no luck.  There are
NO error messages or other hints, you just get returned to the prompt.
there are no other visible signs of a problem, all software runs OK.
